At the exchange, Arthur showed Norah an old photograph.
Evelyn stood beside Elena Russo.
They were smiling.
Friends.
Arthur claimed Evelyn had betrayed everyone.
Norah almost believed him.
Then she saw the date.
The photograph had been taken after Arthur claimed the women had stopped speaking.
Another lie.
Norah realized her mother and Leo's mother had been secretly building the case together.
Arthur had destroyed one family and wounded another.
