Chapter 16 - The Notebook

Build something nobody can take from you.
For years, I thought he'd meant property.
Money.
Career.
Security.

Nobody could take that unless I handed it away.
I placed Dad's letter inside the notebook.
Then I wrote beneath his sentence:
May you like
And don't be afraid to decide who gets invited inside.
